Over the past few weeks, Zoho CRM has received a series of updates that shift AI agents from "novelty" to "essential work tool." Zia Agents are now appearing on the CRM home page, integrating into structured processes within Kiosk Studio, handling service quotes and invoices, and offering significantly improved related record views. Below is a breakdown of what has changed and what it means for sales teams.

Why this matters

For years, AI in CRM operated alongside sales processes—you had to open an agent view separately, check its suggestions, and then return to your actual work. The June 2026 updates represent a qualitative shift: Zia agents now operate where the salesperson actually works—on the home page, while managing an opportunity, or when preparing a quote. There is no need to switch screens or remember to "check what the AI says." The system is simply working alongside the user.

For companies weighing the practical value of AI in sales, this is a clear signal: Zoho isn't just adding widgets for demos—it is integrating AI into the real sales process.

What has changed – an overview of updates

Zia Agents on the CRM home page

Until now, Zia Agents required a separate window—salespeople had to leave their daily workflow, check what the agent found, and then return. This meant that much of the value generated by the agents was simply lost in the daily rush.

From now on, Zia agents are available directly on the Zoho CRM home page. In the home page edit mode, a new "Agents" section appears alongside dashboards, views, and reports. Simply drag your chosen agent onto the screen, and their results—priority leads, opportunity alerts, and next-step recommendations—will be visible alongside your pipeline and daily tasks. Clicking the refresh button restarts the agent to pull the latest data. This feature is available in Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate plans.

Zia Agents in Kiosk Studio: AI within structured processes

Kiosk Studio is a tool for building guided, step-by-step processes in CRM—no code required, using a graphical interface. It allows you to create "mini-apps" that run inside the CRM to collect data, make decisions, and trigger actions.

AI agents do not operate on rigid rules; they assess situations and choose responses based on context. Business processes, however, require predictability: the right sequence of steps, the correct approval path, and the right decision-maker. Kiosk Studio bridges these two models by allowing you to call any deployed Zia agent as a native component of a workflow. The kiosk guides the user through screens and enforces business logic, while the agent handles complex analysis and decisions within that process. A potential use case: a Zia agent analyzes customer history and benchmarks, returns a recommended discount with justification, and the kiosk routes the decision through the appropriate approval path—without manual coordination. This feature is available in Professional plans and higher, provided Zia Agents are active.

AI in 30 seconds – what Zia Agents really are

Zoho has published a short guide explaining what AI agents in CRM are, without the technical jargon. The key distinction: standard CRM automation works on predefined rules ("if a lead has this status, send an email"). An AI agent works based on context and goals—it can assess a situation, decide what to do, and execute several steps without human intervention. Zia Agents can be built in Zia Agent Studio via prompts or a graphical interface, with access to over 700 actions in the Zoho ecosystem. Ready-made agents can be activated with a single click or embedded into automations. No IT department involvement is required.

Service quotes and invoices – now native to CRM

Zoho CRM now allows you to prepare draft Quotes and Sales Orders, as well as issue invoices for services directly within the CRM. This expansion is particularly useful for service-based companies—such as consulting, implementation, subscription, or maintenance firms—that want to manage the quoting and sales stages in a single environment.

This allows teams to manage the process from sales opportunity to commercial documents without leaving the CRM. However, the scope and configuration should be tailored to the company's billing model and the edition of the system being used.

Expanded related records view

The final update concerns daily work with records in CRM. Lists of related records—contacts for an account, activities for an opportunity, products for a quote—previously showed a maximum of 10 items at a time. To see more, browse the list, select multiple records, and take action, you had to navigate to a separate module view.

Now, every related record list has an expand icon. Clicking it opens a full-screen workspace showing up to 100 records per page. Intelligent filters, column selection, and bulk actions are available—the same ones found in module list views: sending emails, updating owners, running macros, creating tasks, and exporting. All this without leaving the record details page the user is currently working on. This feature is available in all paid editions of Zoho CRM.

Summary

Zoho CRM consistently embeds AI exactly where sales work happens—not in separate tabs or as optional widgets. Zia Agents on the home page, agent integration with Kiosk Studio, service support in quoting, and enhancements to record browsing are updates that bridge the gap between CRM data and sales decisions.

For sales teams, this means less switching between tools, less manual coordination of tasks, and more time for customer conversations.
